Net neutrality is so very, very important to everyone. We are very close to losing a free internet where everyone, every website, every business has equal footing and we are very close to getting an internet where our service providers decide what we get to see.
Call To Action
Geek Insider is calling on its readers to help. Urgent action must be taken immediately before it is too late. There is an organization called Fight for the Future that is trying to get President Obama to honor his promises he made during his campaign to protect the open internet.
On Wednesday, Fight for the Future’s co-founder Tiffiniy Cheng was invited to the White House to take part in a conversation about internet policy, in response to a letter the organization sent calling on the White House to endorse real net neutrality. In the two minutes she was allowed, Cheng demanded that Obama stay true to the promises he made regarding the FCC.
