It’s no secret that I live with a lot of pain every day and as such, I’m always on the lookout for anything that can help. So, when I was contacted about trying out a deep tissue muscle massager, I couldn’t resist.
And boy howdy, am I glad I couldn’t. The Yunmai SlimElegant Massage Gun is seriously the best massager I’ve ever had the pleasure of using.

The massager even looks and feels professional. It comes in a solid case where all of the attachments, charger, etc fit nicely, making it easy to take with you wherever you go. The charge itself has spots for the attachments and tt doesn’t take long to charge — we use it almost every evening for at least 15 minutes or so but only have to recharge it once in a while. In fact, according to Yunmai, the built-in battery is a 2900mAh long-lasting energy storage battery that when fully charged and used for 10min a day, can last for about 84 days without needing charged.
“Once in a while” can be a decent chunk of time.
One reason this massager works so great is that the massage head itself — to protect your muscle tissue, the surface is covered with soft and skin-friendly food-grade silica gel. In order to reduce damage to muscles and bones, the head has a unique internal Honeycomb Structure that provides strong support. The gun itself has an independently researched ergonomic design that is really comfortable to hold and use and it has a hidden heat dissipation design which is sweat and splash-proof.
A huge design decision that set the Yunmai SlimElegant Massage Gun apart from many others, at least to my wife and I, is that the power and mode setting button is not in your way at all. Located on the back of the massager, it’s next to impossible to accidentally turn it off. All too often we’ve gotten ones with the switch right where your hand rests and almost constantly gets inadvertently powered off. That’s probably one reason why YUNMAI technology has won many influential international design awards.
I can say with confidence that this is one of the best, if not THE best, personal massagers I’ve ever used. Furthermore, if something ever happens to it within the first year you own it, they promise to replace it as opposed to repair.
