Fortnite Pickaxe Skins

There’s a skin for almost everything in Fortnite. Whether it’s character skins, backpack skins, glider skins, and even pickaxe skins, most of them can be found tucked away in the Fortnite item shop or the current season’s Battle Pass. The arrival of each new season means all-new skins for your growing collection! Pickaxes skins, in particular, are more on the niche side of things. Most people just tend to collect character skins or emotes since they’re pretty much in-your-face, meaning that you see them immediately during a match. Whereas pickaxes are mostly used only at the beginning of the game to farm building materials. But that doesn’t mean they’re worthless! In fact, some pickaxes are even more exclusive than other character skins! If you’re interested to learn more about pickaxe skins, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ll be showing you the rarest pickaxe skins that you should keep your eye on!

  1. Raiders Revenge

The Raiders Revenge is not only one of the rarest pickaxes, but it’s also one of the rarest skins in Fortnite, period. This skin was released during the first season of Fortnite—even before the Battle Royale genre took over mainstream gaming. Raiders Revenge was available in the Fortnite item shop for those who have reached level 35 during the season. The craftsmanship of this pickaxe skins looks pretty frugal and barbaric, to say the least. With what looks like an ax that has the head of a pickaxe screwed on top covered with barbed wire, you could say that it has a “rustic” feel to it compared to other skins. The Raiders Revenge is part of the Storm Scavenger set which has also been vaulted.

  1. Pot o’ Gold

The Pot o’ Gold was released back on March 16, 2018, as a way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This is one of the rarest Epic-tier pickaxe skins out there. It transforms your run-of-the-mill pickaxe into a three-leaf clover staff that has a floating pot of gold at the end of the rainbow to the side. The Pot o’ Gold skin was part of the Green Clover set and was available for purchase in the store for 1,200 V-Bucks for a limited time.

  1. Rainbow Smash

The Rainbow Smash is arguably the most popular pickaxe skin in Fortnite. Initially, it was pretty sought after during its first run in the item store—thanks to the colorful unicorn pinata. At first, it was thought to be rare, but that rumor was debunked when it was seen in and out of the store. It’s not as rare as the other skins that we’ve mentioned since it’s been making rounds in the store, but if you’re looking for a pickaxe aesthetics that’s pleasing to the eyes, then the Rainbow Smash is perhaps your best bet.

  1. Angular Axe

If you’re looking for a skin that has an interesting tale to tell, then the Angular Axe just might be it. This skin was part of the Nvidia Fortnite bundle. Compared to other sets, this one is slightly more unique. The only way for players to get the set was to purchase an Nvidia GPU RTX1060 or a higher Nvidia graphics card. So if you’re looking for a reason to get an upgrade for your PC, then this is probably the best time to do so!

  1. FNCS Axe of Champions

There’s no question about it. The FNCS Axe of Champions is the rarest skin in Fortnite. Available only to individuals who won on the Fortnite Championship Series, only the current champions are given the chance to hold this item. So no, it’s not available in the Fortnite item shop. Should another player win the FCS, then the former champion will lose access to it. With the FNCS logo on top and the pickaxe looking like it’s made of gold, it’s truly the pickaxe for the champions.
