Monthly Magic Box: July Box Review

Here we are again with another Monthly Magic Box review! July’s box held some interesting and exciting MTG products that we can’t wait to share with you. Let’s get started, shall we?

‘Cardboard Crack’ Comic Strip Book – Est. Value: $15.00

Ribbet collage This hilarious comicstrip-filled book is a great representation of hardcore MTG player’s lives. The cover illustrates two MTG players engaging in a round of the beloved game while riding dolphins. Truly, anytime…anywhere.

2 x 2015 Core Set Booster Packs – Est. Value: $10.00

Cards This is the first we have seen of the 2015 Core Set in the Monthly Magic Boxes, and it was a very pleasant surprise. We had not, personally, had a chance to open any of the 2015 Core Set booster packs prior to this, so this was a very much looked forward to item for us!

Max Protection Deck Box- Est. Value: $10.00

Deckbox This Max Protection Deck Box is pretty hardcore. Constructed from tough ridged plastic, it will stand up to just about anything. Included in the box are free Index Boards as well!

Foam Dice & Candies

Minis Lastly, included in July’s Monthly Magic Box were 4 foam 6-sided dice and 2 ‘Napoleon’ candies! The candies were delicious and we loved the ‘bounce’ that came along with using foam dice. They are very lightweight, easily portable, quiet, and they held their shape well, even when squished.

Total Estimated Value for June’s Monthly Magic Box: $45.00. That’s a savings of $21.00!

That’s it for July’s ‘Monthly Magic Box’! A big THANK YOU to the folks as Monthly Magic Box for sponsoring this review.
