Ah, nothing like the fresh, sweet smell of loot! There’s no better feeling than getting some awesome stuff in the mail, especially since that cursed mail box usually only delivers sorrow and bills.
On that note, let’s look what March brought in the wonderful world of Loot Crate Subscriptions!
I would like to say that this was my first time ever receiving and opening up a Loot Crate box, so I had no idea what to expect. It turned out that this month’s Loot Crate theme was COVERT, featuring all things spy related.

So I was casually and enthusiastically ripping open the box when I noticed some colour on the inside. In case you don’t know, normally the outside of a Loot Crate is plain black.
I ceased my destruction and opened the rest of the box carefully to find this printed on the inside:
Yes, indeed. That is a secret computer with thumbprint key pad. The mission was on.

In case you can’t tell from the apparent failure of my phone to take nice pictures, this is saying that I now get a free download of Ninjak #1.  Ninjak is the tale of a ninja spy, who is kinda like Batman in the way that his parents were killed and that leads him into becoming a super hero. Ninjak uses his skills in martial arts, demolition, information acquisition, as well as his keen intellect and his ability to prepare people for any outcome in a given situation to avenge his father’s death.

This is the Loot Crate magazine is following the theme with spies by highlighting James Bond and Solid Snake, teaching you all you need to know about history’s greatest fictional spies.
A Highlight On Orphan Black
Included in the Loot Crate was an Orphan Black comic. Orphan Black is a Canadian science fiction television series created by screenwriter Graeme Manson and director John Fawcett. It stars Tatiana Maslany, who plays Sarah Manning and a bunch of clones.

Oh dear? What’s this?
It’s a custom, one-of-a-kind Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. placard with booklet and lanyard clip. It is an accurate reproduction of the prop used in the show.
STEALTH WRIST WATCH!

This was one of the really awesome items. This bundle had two custom notebooks:
It has a calendar in the front and a fingerprint area in the back. It’s pretty cute.
James Bond: King of Spies
This was my favourite of the whole bunch. This was a cute little t-shirt with poor Bond on the front, crying into a badly made martini. I wore it the same night I got it and got lots of compliments.
