How To Use Android 12’s Call Screening Features

Android 12 is one of the best OS’s ever, highlighting vibrant color capabilities and sensitive motion. What makes it much better than the previous Android 11 is that Android 12 consists of quality of life improvements, and one of the most prominent features is the well-defined notifications.

Speaking of notifications, back in 2020, Google had introduced call screening features for its Pixel Phones. By using the screen call, it allows you to screen calls for numbers you don’t recognize.

Today, with the advancements in modern technology, the Android 12 features can prevent you from dealing with the frustrating process of going through call menus.

If you are looking to avoid this frustration and want to slightly improve your quality of life with better features on your phone, check out how call screening works on your Android 12 device.

How You Can Use The Android 12 Call Screening Feature Today

When you first hear about the call screening features, there’s a chance you might think of it as a bit more complicated than it has to be. However, this is not the case. It is super user-friendly. So you don’t have to be very tech-savvy to get your brain around the concept.

How does it work?

When someone whose number is not in your contact list calls you, an option “screen call” pops up right away. It has “accept the call” option or “decline call” options on the side. Once you select the “screen call” option, the caller gets an alert.

This audio message asks them to say who they are and why they are calling. This message appears on your screen. Now you can select whether you want to accept the call or decline it. However, this feature is much more present in the latest phones, including Pixel 6 or Pixel pro.

That’s pretty cool, right?

That is another fantastic feature to be grateful for during this holiday season.
