Harry Potter’s Tom Felton (a.k.a. Draco Malfoy) broke the internet recently when it was released that he’d be a huge part of The CW’s The Flash next season. According to an article on USA Today, the news about the actor joining the cast of the superhero action comedy series was confirmed via Tweet by The CW and was expanded upon in an article on TVline.com. Felton will be playing crime scene investigator Julian Dorn, who works at the Central City Police Department and is onto Barry Allen as the famed speedster.
The 28-year-old British actor is working on various projects at the moment and has been seen at comic conventions over the past few years. He is a fan favorite for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, but he has a strong filmography under his belt, having appeared in big screen features like Rise of the Planet of the Apes and TV series such as Murder in the First.
The plot has been thickening in The Flash over the last two seasons, and the show is gaining almost as much momentum as its lead superhero (yes, corny joke intended). Felton’s addition to the cast as a recurring role in season three only adds to the excitement and anticipation of the show’s upcoming season. Season three of The Flash will premiere on October 3, 2016 on THE CW, 8 pm ET.
