This was one con that everyone should attend. Wait! Scratch that. I think almost everyone DID attend.
It was PACKED!
Wall-to-wall Geeks and Geek merch, swag, and events and David and I were there for all of it.
Of course, one of the funnest parts of any convention of this sort is the cosplay and FanExpo Dallas didn’t disappoint. There were hundreds of great costumes and groups and while we didn’t get all of their names, we snagged a lot of pics.
If you see yourself, leave a comment below and let us know which one you are.
While you’re going to see some timeless favorites and very ingenious costumes, my pick for absolute cutest goes to this expectant mom. She gets a big ole “OH YEAH!”
Now, in no particular order, check out some of the other great folks we ran across.
Bo Katan actually posed with my Darksaber from Saberspro.com and a lot of people were jealous. While others were scared to weld its power. The best thing is, one lucky attendee won their own saber from SabersPro.com and we’re just waiting to hear back from them so we can get it sent out.
To say FanExpo Dallas was fun would be a HUGE understatement. It was easily one of the best cons I’ve been to in my 30 years of going. The fans were fantastic. The vendors were wonderful, and the staff was extraordinary.
Parking was bit of a headache on Saturday but that’s because, as I said, everyone in Dallas was there.
But it was worth it.
If you didn’t make it this year, start making plans for FanExpo Dallas 2024. Geek Insider will definitely be there.
