Would You Love a Free Airbnb Vacation?

If you feel overworked and overexerted on a daily basis, then you are undoubtedly in need of a vacation. But money doesn’t grow on trees. You simply can’t head out to the Bahamas without putting a dent in your bank account.

Or could you?

According to Airbnb, you very well can. The vacation rental giant is searching for not one, not two, but five people to take a well deserved break in the Bahamas absolutely free of cost.

Yes, you read it correctly. Free vacation in the Bahamas, sponsored by Airbnb.

Woot!

The Free Airbnb Vacation Comes With a Few Stipulations

Before you get your hopes high and your luggage packed, it is necessary to understand what this offer actually entails.

According to details shared by CNBC, this free Airbnb vacation will select 5 lucky people to visit three Bahamian locations from April to May 2020. But it comes with its own requirements.

As described by the company, in exchange for providing the lucky individuals with a free vacation in the Bahamas, it will require them to take part in different ecological projects at the locations they visit.

This way the individuals in question can take a much needed break from their everyday life while also being able to do some good in the world.

Dubbed as the Bahamas Sabbatical, the program comes with its own requirements. It is the third offering in the Airbnb sabbatical program, and follows the company’s Italian and Antarctic projects of a similar nature.

What Will You Have to Do During this Working Vacation?

This free Airbnb vacation that requires a little bit of work from your end requires a commitment to contribute to island life. You also need to be at least 18 years old.

To make sure that the activities are in line with what your visited locations actually need, Airbnb is partnering up with the Bahamas National Trust, a local non-profit.

During the sabbatical, selected participants will be visiting the islands of Andros, Exuma, and Eleuthera. At these locations, they will take part in restoring a coral reef, working for the conservation of reef-friendly species, and assisting with research and ecological projects in the archipelago.

Overall, this project will strike a balance between providing a free vacation in the Bahamas while also helping the participants in generating personal satisfaction during the trip.

How to Participate in the Program?

If you are down to do the work while also enjoying your time in the Bahamas, then all you need to do to do is to apply to the Airbnb sabbatical program.

But before you apply for the sabbatical, make sure to read the requirements and selection rules. This will help you steer clear of any unexpected rules.

The selected participants of the sabbatical program will be announced on March 25.

Get excited, take a chance, and apply.

I’m sure it’ll be worth it if you win.
