November Loot Crate is a Hit!
As winter slowly but inevitably approaches, the bitter winds and frosty snow beat down on us weary geeks. As tiring and spirit-destroying as it can be, there’s always a bright spot to look forward to. For this geek, it’s the monthly Loot Crate and this month’s loot is as epic as always.
This month’s theme is Combat, featuring such heroes and villains alike.
As always, the Loot Crate box came with an exclusive pin featuring this month’s icon as well as the monthly Loot Crate magazine. The magazine looked into some of the most famous pop culture rivalries (Ash vs Gary, Mario vs Bowser, etc) as well as the rise of movies and stories based on teens fighting teens. Hunger Games, Battle Royale, and (my favourite) The Long Walk (by Stephen King) are analyzed and compared.
Winter = Blizzard Loot
Included in this month’s Loot Crate was a set of 11 magnets featuring some of Blizzard Entertainment’s most beloved and memorable villains like Kerrigan and Diablo.
Also included was an exclusive Cute but Deadly Vinyl orange Merloc.
The Nuclear Winter
Nothing like a Nuka-Cola to keep you warm this winter. Barring that, why not keep yourself company in the long, dark nights with this exclusive cutie pie Vault Boy bobble head from Fall Out?
Measuring about 6 inches tall, he’ll watch your back as you sleep though he won’t do much once the Deathclaws come.
Avoid Sunblindness!
Need to channel your inner evil ninja? Then it’s time to don the signature mask of Shredder, archenemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Not only will you look cool, but those lenses are UV filtered so you don’t have to worry about the glare off the snow while you fight to the death.
Catch Fire with Katniss
Channel your inner rebel and fiery pride with this sleek and classy prop replica of Katniss Everdeen’s Mockingjay pin. Just in time for the final installment of the epic Hunger Games series!
And Watch the World Burn…
What happens when Loot Crate employees join forces with the heroes of Street Fighter? An exclusive original comic book produced by CAPCOM, that’s what.
That’s all, folks. So wrap up, keep warm, and – as always – geek out!
