Introducing Geeklery – Artisan Made Jewelry and Goods Inspired by All Things Nerdy and Geeky

Arvada, Colorado (September 30, 2020) – Co-founded by Jamie Hollier, founder + owner of Olde Town Arvada-based artisan and custom jewelry gallery, Balefire Goods, Geeklery is launching October 2,2020. Geeklery is kicking off with an art show that celebrates our favorite stories and characters, but will be ongoing with its own website (www.geeklery.com – launching October 2 , 2020). Highlighting jewelry and art based on our favorite fandoms, pop culture, and all things nerdy and geeky, Geeklery has something for everyone – whether you are into sci- fi, comic books, role playing games, fantasy – whatever – Geeklery has something for you!

This feel-good show and ongoing initiative features artisan jewelry and other work inspired by our favorite pursuits. All work featured will be one-of-a-kind and limited edition, hand-crafted and perfect for every collector in your life (including yourself!) – Balefire Goods’ brand ethos of jewelry-making in an ethical and sustainable fashion crosses over into Geeklery.

“As a life long nerd and geek, it’s always been an interest of mine to include fine jewelry and fine art with the works that are inspired by the characters and stories that we all connect to,” says co-founder Jamie Hollier, “I believe that our shared love for these fandoms can be a bridge and build relationships that can be life-changing connections.”

Confirmed participating artisans and designers include: Acanthus Jewelry, Tuggle Designs, Alex Boyd, Valerie Savarie, John Hamilton III, Niki Fisk, Ryan Gardner, and many more!

Pop Culture Classroom is Geeklery’s featured non-profit and will receive a portion of sales ongoing. Pop Culture Classroom is a Denver-based non-profit that is working to inspire a love of learning, increase literacy, celebrate diversity and build community through the tools of popular culture and the power of self-expression.
