Tiny, Classy and Convenient Clutch Charger

When I first got the Clutch Charger, I was amazed at how small it was. Frankly, I was a little afraid to use it because it’s so compact and delicate-looking. I’m pretty tough on gadgets but if I’m going to run this charger through the paces, I’m going to be a bit tough on it.

I’ve had the large, clunky powerbanks. Sure, it’s convenient to have a power source to charge up the tablet or phone when we’re traveling but not so great if it’s taking up a lot of space in the purse or travel bag.

Testing It Through A Storm

Having looked at the weather, Hurricane Eta was a few days away from hitting Florida. I charged up the little Clutch using the micro USB wire (supplied) and let my Samsung A20 power down next to nothing. Under normal circumstances, I would not do that but I had backups. Sure enough, when Eta came through, it was downgraded to a Tropical Storm but we lost power at my house for about 30 hours.

My phone was completely dead and I used the built-in lightning cable and let it do its thing overnight while I slept. When I woke up, my phone was at 50% and the Clutch was spent. Honestly, for as tiny as this charger is, I was very pleasantly surprised.

The Clutch Charger is a little bit bigger than a business card and fits well into my wallet and pocketbook. Because of the metal case, I don’t have to worry too much about it breaking because it’s been jostled around in my purse.

The micro USB wire that comes in the package is a bit short but it does the job and a longer replacement wire can be purchased online or at a local store.

For the Android version, you have the option of choosing black or white and the price point at about $40 USD is affordable enough to gift to family and friends, or have a few spares around the house in case of an emergency.
