PhotoScape: Free Photo Editing Program With A Lot To Offer

Say, you have a presentation due next week, or your blog is in desperate need of revamping. These days we are blessed with numerous software that have the adroitness to spice up our web design. After all, first impressions are of the utmost importance! How else are you going to grab your audience’s attention besides a great web layout?

While there are many free-to-use images in this internet world, nothing beats the satisfaction of making one of your own. In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to create a simple image.

Photoscape

A Little Something About PhotoScape

PhotoScape was developed by MOOII Tech, Korea. This photo editing tool runs in Microsoft Windows systems and Mac. Its default languages are currently English and Korean. As for the other language packages, they are available for download. PhotoScape may have been released way back in 2008, but it is still one of the most popular photo editing programs used today. As of 2014, its latest release is Version 3.6.5

 What You Should Do

Step 1: Open Paint and make a box of your desired size. Save it.

Step 2: Download PhotoScape.

Step 3: The downloading process takes a few minutes. After you’ve installed it, open the software and click Editor.

Step 4: You should be able to locate the box you’ve made earlier on. Give yourself a pat on the back. You’re halfway done!

Step 5: Have fun with it. If you would like to create a frame for your image, simply make sure that you’re at the Home tab. Just for fun, I picked Antique Frame 01.

Step 6: Next up, text. Click the Object Tab, and you will spot the symbol T for text.

Step 7: Input your text. Choose your font, size, color and position. By the time you’re done, hit the OK button.

Step 8: Still not satisfied? Click icon, which is also found under the Object tab.

Step 9: Get ready to be spoiled for choice as there are dozens of icons for you to choose from.

Step 10: It’s your life, so do whatever you want with your icon!

Step 11: By the time you’re happy with your result, hit Save (bolded this word to emphasize its importance) . This is the most crucial step. Trust me, you do not want to do it from scratch. If you’re a perfectionist like I am and would like to go back to square one, hit the Undo or Undo All button. They are located just above the Save button.

Voila, your image is all done! Now all you have to do is log in to your site/blog, find the image widget and upload the file.

Other Features of PhotoScape:

GIF animations are frightfully common in Tumblr. You cannot go through your Tumblr feed without spotting sassy J.Law making wacky expressions or Tom Hiddleston’s epic dancing. And if you think GIFs are exaggerating, wait till you see the number of re-blogs. PhotoScape seems to understand this demand as the graphic editing program is also decked out with this option. Other highlights include: Photo Viewer, Photo Batch Editor, Page Creator, Featured Printer, Screen Capture, Color Picker, RAW Converter and Face Finder.

Why PhotoScape Stands Out:

It is available for everyone to use and the concept is really easy. The easily accessible graphic editing program allows users to edit their photos from both their digital cameras or cell phones. Any tech dummy could have done it. All in all, PhotoScape pushes the limits and enhances your photos with no hassle.
