Payday 2 Release Day is August 13, Pre-Order 20% Off

If you’re a fan of co-op first person shooters, you might want to consider grabbing the preorder deal on Payday 2, confirmed to be released just next week from Overkill Software and 505 Games.

The sequel to Payday: The Heist promises to deliver better combat, a new stealth mechanic, and a new “loot bag” that slows the player down and tilts the camera as it fills up. Unlike typical FPS, each mission (or heist) can be completely different based on how scenarios are played out – making it a lot more interesting as a co-op title than typical linear, scripted missions.

The Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are not entirely void of discounts either. NewEgg has the prices down to $35.99 after coupon EMCXMXW225 – this coupon expires on August 7th.

Release date for the game was just confirmed today at August 13 for the Steam/PC version, where as the other platforms will have the game released slightly later on August 16.
