If you have a smartphone or tablet, then you’re probably familiar with casual games that keep you hooked for a really long time. These games along with all the apps you have are what actually make your device smart and fun and. Today, we’re going to review a promising new Android game dubbed Jetpack Jinx.
Jetpack Jinx is a tilt and jump game that will keep you entertained for hours. You’re in control of a Jinx, who’s a tiny minion of the Lord Shadowbot. Jinx is lost in space during a mission and now he must find his way back into the orbit, and you’re his only hope. The storyline is not the best out there but it should give you a simple idea about the gameplay.
The controls are intuitive and pretty basic that even a kid could master in a little amount of time. The main objective is to get Jinx as higher as possible by collecting gems and avoiding obstacles along the way. You may think of it as an easy game or kid stuff but actually it gets pretty complex along the way to keep the game challenging.
To aid you in your mission there are different power-ups that you’ll encounter during your escape like Mega mouth, Magic Time, Rocket Boosters and Super Sidekicks. You can also buy any of these upgrades with the in-game coins you collect or using in-app purchasing. To keep you on the safe side, developers have included an option to turn-off in-app purchasing by entering a 4-digit code, that’ll keep your children from buying anything and racking up a huge bill for you. This is a feature we wish all developers would include in their games.
I am not a child but to be honest Jetpack Jinx didn’t seem like a game for kids to me and I had my fair share of fun while playing the game for review. It is a must have for gamers who are looking for something new and unique, something other than Temple Run or Angry Birds. Best of all, Jetpack Jinx is available for free on Google Play. So, you’ve got nothing to lose. Are you going to try Jetpack Jinx? If you do, let me know what you think in the comments below.
